The Cod Crew had the pleasure of seeing the Spanish blues trio Guadalupe Plata at the Brudenell in Leeds 09.06.2019.
We were soon submerged deep into a demonic Spanish rockabilly set of the highest order. Hypnotic vocals with tribal/ceremonial drum beats captivated the Brudenell crowd. You don’t need to speak Spanish to know that they aren’t singing about rainbows and puppy dogs. Trippy and Fuzzy with an atmospheric hiss, these guys are a must see.
